Hi, I’m Amanda.
I love animals so much that I made it my Ph.D and my career. At Northeastern University, I studied the effects of environmental enrichment on zoo animal welfare. (I have some GREAT zoo stories!)
With dogs, I am always trying to find new ways to enrich their everyday lives, train new skills, and build our relationship.
I love to teach agility and I love taking seminars as a student as often as I can! I’ve written two agility books for Clean Run – Weaves that Wow and Phenomenal Stopped Contacts.
At my home in Vermont, you’ll find me training and playing with my dogs, my cat (Tuggy), two miniature horses (Wulfric and Whitman), and several rabbits.
I live with my son, Theo, and am lucky to have my sister, Alicia, living close by.
