Amanda’s Students Speak!
Amanda is very thorough and very positive. She can adjust to any dog and student. I really like that she provides explanations and tips. She offers classes for any level student, and lots of different options! Highly recommended!

Amanda is a fabulous instructor, offering constructive criticism, praise and direction. She helps you see and understand every step in your training to help you become a better and more observant handler. I have seen remarkable improvements in my dog’s skills and my own handling skills as I work through these classes. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to strengthen their training and relationship.

Amanda is my favorite online instructor. She presents things succinctly and her feedback is detailed and exactly what I need. Varsity is mostly perfect thanks to Amanda’s classes! We’ve got great weave skills, gamble skills, and perfected our contacts.

I started taking privates from Amanda when my Aussie pup, Ritz, was 4 months old. I wanted Ritz to start agility with a solid foundation and Amanda has been such a great help with that. Amanda is always positive, patient and explains things thoroughly… all attributes necessary for a great teacher. I started agility over 20 years ago. Methods have changed so much since then, so I feel like I am learning agility all over again from scratch. I am also understanding it more and having loads of fun doing it.

Amanda was recommended to me by another handler after Reddy & I had a frustrating two-day trial.
Amanda is a teacher; therefore, she understands how to break down learning into steps so that you can progress and improve at your own rate. She understands that learning a skill takes deliberate practice. She understands how to make that fun and effective. And she constantly gives positive reinforcement and specific feedback. She is your personal trainer, full of insight, kindness, patience, and enthusiasm.
After a few months with Amanda, Reddy and I started having fun again at trials. There is no doubt in my mind that Reddy runs better because of my training with Amanda. Without Amanda, we would not have been prepared for OMD training in Finland. Without Amanda, we wouldn’t have made the podium three times at NE Regionals. And without Amanda, we wouldn’t be running with confidence and fun at Cynosport (USDAA) nationals.

I first met Amanda when she was a student of mine and I knew right away that this young lady could make it to the top in this sport! She put the work in, motivated her dog, and went on to study the sport and develop her own style of training. Then became a great teacher in her own right. I have taken seminars with Amanda myself. She is motivating and gives her all to each participant. Amanda pushes me to excel to the best of my ability. Some of the most fun times I have had in the sport of dogs has been with Amanda!

This is one awesome class! I’m learning to use and trust my peripheral vision so I feel confident about my location on the course, my timing has improved and I’m identifying things I need to put more training time in on. Wow!
